Mostly a really nice and pleasant easy listen with a couple of chase/poliziesco funk cues. Lovely wordless vocal 'Exotic Song,' perhaps Edda Dell'Orso? Great cover too. One of the guys that runs Sonor has a copy for sale on Discogs. I recommend it!

It is ebays fault! It said 60 seconds left but when I clicked "bid" the auction had already ended. Moral of the story, don't trust the timer haha.

@million

An OG of this masterpiece! Oh shit!!

Is it a 10"? I'm wondering if the Trunk version is expanded in some way. I finally snagged that one last year.

@disco: yes, its a crispy little 10". some years ago i also got myself the Trunk reissue because i thought it comes with outtakes or something. things are different though. A side of the reissue is the complete Abstractions Of Industrial North 10". B side is a little selection of Kirchins other 10"records on De Wolfe (Mind On The Run, Town Beat, Dont Loose Your Cool,...)

the reissue is nice to have because you can listen to the whole 10" without ever moving your ass off the couch.

i agree with you. the record is a masterpiece. absolutely essential...

Lol he used his sister's name. I never understood all the aliases- was it a contractual thing? Gino Marinacci on flute, I've had 'Amico Flauto' on repeat all week.

Best library of 2016? Maybe, but we also have zoo Folle, oriente oggi, the ayna stuff... Just an awesome year for library heads!!

Dudes,

Forced Exposure has some Sonor 1-3 up. Snagged SME1 and SME2 for $23 each. They're hard to find for less than $90 on discogs.

Heads up of the year! I have been pricing out Freedom Power for ages, but could never land it for under $75 or so. Thank you so much.

anybody else has the feeling the quality of the Sonor records has decreased? i think the first four are very good but the quality of sleeves and also sound became a little weaker. maybe just a stupid thought of mine...

Damn, just got the "sorry, out of stock" email from FE. Looks those early Sonor titles might have been listed in error. If anybody has a copy of Freedom Power they want to move along, please get in touch.

great supplement to the latest Luciani on Cinedelic is the marvellous Panorami Attuali on Montecarlo. basicaly you get more or less standard panoramic background music BUT (and this is a big but, haha!) the music is underlined by crazy electronic effects and a funny drummachine which makes this record so epic and unique. grab a copy if you see one...

@deaf I got my shipping confirmation on SME1 and 2. They were very real, homie. Even snagged SME3 last night and received an order confirmation this morning. I've been burned by the FE post order email rejection before, so sorry that happened to you. I'll keep an eye out for these in Paris next month.

@Jimmy_Mike - Ah well, glad you were able to pick them up. Must have been a single warehouse find at FE?
