Thanks Jgibbs. Need to check it out. Maybe I actually did see this back when...

The sale of the new subscription is starting in November.
The Howling still coming as the last part of this years sub. Should also be in November.

Then they teased a 3LP release that is not a soundtrack to be released soon. However soon can mean 2017.
Darkman and the Excorsist have not yet been teased with a date.

yes, that's the point. once they have the amount of people in, they know how many sub variants they need to be pressed. i think the sub is getting very popular and is the safest way to do (wax-)business. just out of curiosity, would be interesting to know how many people subscribe actually...

@milliondollars
DWRC and Terror Vision have or had a limited amount of spots available for subs.
On social media some people were fearing of missing out, as some do with every limited release nowadays. Thankfully Waxworks subscription is available for everyone who wants one.

Also very curious to know how many of the previous two subs were sold.
Looking at Discogs data there are at least 134 that have the first sub (CHUD picture disc). But of course not everyone list there version on Discogs :-)
Wouldn't be surprised as it is <250 for the first one and <350 for the second one.

I have enjoyed the first two Waxwork subscriptions, and will definitely sign up for another one. Creepshow 2 is just icing on the cake at this point. I wish that they still posted on this forum though.

Variants for Creepshow 2 according to my sources*:

1. Turquoise and wood brown color in color.
2. Oil slick translucent grey and opaque black swirl.
3. Raincoat yellow with blood spatter.
4. Venus flytrap green.

***I made this all up.

Just finished watching this for the first time.
Loved The Raft episode the most. Could see a variant with a Speedo Yellow and Black Goo color in color.

Is Waxwork going to skip right to F13VIII and release some of Mollin's work for the franchise or is this just a topical picture since they are in NYC?

NYC reference, just came from the screening. Holy shit that movie looked incredible. Was talking to Kevin afterwards, he's got big plans for the soundtrack release, undiscovered extras, deluxe packaging, he seemed super stoked about it.

I had never met Romero before, guy is like 7' tall. Haha.

I picked up a copy of Leon the Professional, there was never a coupon code field during the checkout. Assume they disabled it during the black Friday sale to prevent stacking the discounts.

Thanks for the Black Friday reminder, lads. I picked up Salem's Lot and Shockwaves this morning.

Nobody posted The Howling pic yet?

Long time since viewing the movie... gonna have to revisit what the score sounds like.

Francavilla seems to be their go-to guy for horror scores at the moment. Love his use of colour but there are quite a few of these comic book-y covers popping up... wonder if he will be involved in their Waxwork Comics venture discussed for 2017?

Cool find, Spun. I didn't realize this was in the offing. Perhaps one of my favorite parts about a new title gets announced is the opportunity it provides and impetus it sparks for an oft-neglected film. Time to revisit The Howling! On the cover, I'm pretty picky about the "comic book art" LP covers (I go in for Shaw and E.A.L. or Tong and Durieux), but I really like Francavilla's work a lot. I even own a few of his Black Beetle comics because I like his style and, as Spun said, his use of color.

When it comes to that comic book style, I'm Ghoulish Gary all the way, he's got that EC comics flavor down pat, Francavilla is quickly becoming my second favorite for that style though, that Salem's Lot sleeve is one of the best things to come out this year.

I love this, I would love for them to do American Werewolf in London and have him do the art for that as well, make a little matched set (I guess throw in Wolfen too?)

Part of me had actually hoped that landland would do salems lot since it would have bookended nicely with nosferatu, but again, francavilla killed it
