Got a grip of new death waltz stuff today!

Living Dead at Manchester Morgue - nice to see the deluxe reissue project continue. This looks great with the gatefold art!

Wild Beasts - really enjoying this score, different from the Cam version.

Jungle Trap - unknown to me but it's got some rockin synth music, I like it more than I expected

And the obis show some good Italian stuff on the horizon... I'm gonna need a bigger shelf

Somebody, somewhere mentioned the Porno Holocaust and Werewolf Woman previews that are on the Mondo/DWRC Soundcloud page right now. I quite enjoyed the Werewolf Woman tracks, but to my surprise the Porno Holocaust cuts left me flat. I'll give them both another go before their drop date(s).

Tex...

Would you say the 'Manchester' re-issue was worth getting over the original DW release from a couple of years back, which can still be picked up from re-sellers?

Enjoying the Wild Beasts and Werewolf... samples, the latter sightly more than the former. It's good that these got put on Soundcloud - wouldn't have had a clue about them otherwise. ;)

Mateo: With PH I think part of the 'enjoyment' of this release would come from the packaging / bonkers cover (and well, simply because it's Fidenco who is most likely not unknown to fans of Italian scores).
That being said I'm not a huge fan of this score. I used to have the CD, barely listened to it (I thought it was too repetitive and what was repeated was not so great in the first place). So this is no Zombi Holocaust imo.

I think so, I guess it depends on whether you prefer the old or the new cover style. It's definitely worth having one or the other since I think it's one of the best in the DW catalog. I still hope to find an original sometime but the prices are way too high!

Agreed. I considered getting it even though it didn't move the needle for me musically, but I am trying to be better about that sort of thing so it's a pass for me. I passed on recent a Frizzi reissue for the same reason. My heart wants it all, but my head knows I won't listen to enough to justify the purchase.

That is a score by Alessandro Alessandroni.
After listening to this not sure what to make of it yet:

I'm all in on anything these guys touched in 1971. check out this amazing cue from Lady Frankenstein. I'm definitely gonna pick one up when it comes out. I also wouldn't mind if the cover looked like the bad ass poster in this video

I was reading back this thread and forgot about this:

So October.... We have Hellraiser, NOES & a little Alan Howarth action. Save your pennies*

*other currencies are available
Alan Howarth: They Live re-issue? Just guessing...
With 2 more Wednesday's to go: Halloween 4 + 5 at the same date? And NOES a week later?
But I also saw a post on Mondo's twitter that stated Batman Returns was imminent.

Hellraiser was delayed with 1 week. I am guessing that because of that NOES or Halloween will be released first week of November.

This information doesn't really serve anyone, but I find it helpful to write down my thoughts and share them to you all ;-

Oh, and I checked how much shipping 8LP's would be to EU: $78 with USPS. I hope that NOES wont be more than that (7LP+box?). That would mean I need to get my hands on $300 to get all of Freddy in my house...

Oh yes, that is also a thing with it's own releases and variants...

Two Headed Dog has the same albums listed in its New Releases section, too.

^ Happy to see that there are going to be retail versions of those records, but why state in the blurb the The Void is a one-off press:
This limited one-time pressing is housed in a laminated reflective jacket, and pressed on 180 gram "Drop in the Void" vinyl (blue, color-in-color) limited to 500 copies.
Maybe it is just me being knit-picky. I am easily agitated because of marketing statements that are misleading. I frequently have the feeling some company/government wants to fuck me :-)

Again: very happy to see a retail variant and I what I am concerned they can press as much as they want.

Noes box is apparently 8LP each in a sleeve plus booklet priced $250.
Haha. Thanks for the correction @Texas. I think I was looking at my knitting project while contemplating my nit picking (with or without - between the two words?)
